In summer my family eats loads of bananas but in winter not so many and i was left wandering what could i do with all these bananas? The answer is make a banana smoothie(feeds 4 to 5)!
To make a smoothie you will need:
- 4 bananas
- 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- Some milk(Depends how liquidy you would like it)
Steps:
- Peel bananas and put them in a blender.
- Add 3 scoops of ice cream and mix together.
- Add milk and mix until right texture.
- ENJOY!

On the menu today is mini quiches!
To make 12 mini quiches you will need:
- A drop of vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 onion (finely diced)
- Chopped courgette, tomatoes, bacon or mushrooms (your choice)
- 6 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup of single cream.
- 1 cup of any hard cheese (i used cheddar)
- Salt and pepper
- 1kg (six rolls) of ready rolled shortcrust pastry.
Utensils:
- Small frying pan
- Chopping board
- Mini muffin tray (twelve wells)
- Table spoons
- Pastry cutters or glass
- Heat the oven to 180C, 350F or gas mark 4.
- Fry the onions with the other filling of your choice on a low heat until soft and cooked through. (be very careful)
- Allow to cool a little, then mix with the cream, eggs, cheese and seasoning.
- Lay out pastry then cut 12 circles out.
- Grease the muffin tray with butter then press the pastry into the wells.
- Place two spoonfuls of the mixture into each pastry.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and set.
- Leave to cool then enjoy.

Here is another recipe for some ghost cupcakes!!
To make around 12 cupcakes you will need:
- 175g(6oz) of self-raising flour.
- 175g(6oz) of soft butter
- 175g(6oz) of caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 3 medium eggs
For the topping:
- Ready to roll regal white icing.
- Glace cherries
- Any jam or marmalade
- Raisins or mini smarties.
- Heat the oven to 180C,350F or gas mark four.
- Put a paper case in each tray hole.
- Sift the flour into a mixing bowl then add sugar, butter and vanilla essence.
- Break eggs into a cup the add them into the bowl. Stir until you have a smooth mixture.
- Spoon the mixture into the cases and fill them halfway.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until firm and golden.
- Leave the cooked cakes on a wire rack to cool
- When the cakes are cool take the cakes out of the cases then turn them upside down and brush some jam or marmalade on the base and place a glace cherry on top of the base.
- Roll out the icing then cut out circles and place them over the cherry and cake to make a ghost then pinch the sides (if you want to).
- Put on raisins or mini smarties then enjoy!!

I'm Cookigirl and I love baking! To start off we are all excited for Halloween so here is a recipe for some spooky cupcakes!
To make enough mixture for 12 small cakes you will need:
- 100g(4 oz) of butter
- 100g(4 oz) of caster sugar
- 2 medium eggs
- 25g (1 oz) of cocoa powder
- 75g (3 oz) of self-raising flour
- A little milk (if needed)
- For the topping:
- Dark chocolate (melted)
- White (cooking) chocolate (melted)
1.Heat the oven to 180oC, 350oF or gas mark 4.
2.Line bun tin with bun cases.
3.Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4.Beat in eggs one at a time adding a little flour with each.
5.Gently fold in the remaining flour and cocoa powder.
6. Half fill the paper cases with the mixture and bake for about 15 minutes until firm.
Topping:
1. Allow to cool. When cool melt dark and white chocolate.
2. Spoon a thin layer of chocolate on the cake.
3. Carefully add a swirl of melted white chocolate on the cake and drag a cocktail stick through the swirl to make a web.
4.Allow to harden then ENJOY!!!
