Hello!!
I'm Cookigirl and I love baking! To start off we are all excited for Halloween so here is a recipe for some spooky cupcakes!

To make enough mixture for 12 small cakes you will need:

  • 100g(4 oz) of butter
  • 100g(4 oz) of caster sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 25g (1 oz) of cocoa powder
  • 75g (3 oz) of self-raising flour
  • A little milk (if needed)
  • For the topping:
  • Dark chocolate (melted)
  • White (cooking) chocolate (melted)

1.Heat the oven to 180oC, 350oF or gas mark 4.

2.Line bun tin with bun cases.

3.Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

4.Beat in eggs one at a time adding a little flour with each.

5.Gently fold in the remaining flour and cocoa powder.

6. Half fill the paper cases with the mixture and bake for about 15 minutes until firm.

Topping:

1. Allow to cool. When cool melt dark and white chocolate.

2. Spoon a thin layer of chocolate on the cake.

3. Carefully add a swirl of melted white chocolate on the cake and drag a cocktail stick through the swirl to make a web.

4.Allow to harden then ENJOY!!!
